英 [rɪ'laɪənt] 美 [rɪ'laɪənt]
  • adj. 依赖的;可靠的;信赖的

英文词源

reliant (adj.)
1856; see rely + -ant. Because it means "dependent (on)" it would seem an odd name for an automobile, but Chrysler (Plymouth) nonetheless chose it as one in 1981.
